As Nasty As They Wanna Be is 2 Live Crew s third album which was released in 1989. The album was banned in Florida and was later played in court during the band s obscenity trial. This album became their largest seller, going 2x Platinum. It would also be the final album to be released under the Skyywalker Records label.
